Type material.

Notes.

This species was described from Taher Gourab in Gilan Province, Iran. Examination of the paratypes in ZMH revealed completely dorsal placement of the antennal scrobes and sharp lateral margin of the protibiae (Fig. 5 E) similar to those in the Phyllobius pyri L. species group, which is already known from Iran.
