Azaleothrips lineus Bhatti, 1995: 101 .

This species was described from a unique female, possibly collected together with asperses, in Bombay, India. According to the original description and figures, it belongs to the amabilis group, and shares several character states with siamensis . From that species, however, it differs in the yellowish base of hind femora and shorter mouth cone.
