Remarks. Veronatus longipalpis was described from specimens collected from Tairua and sent to Sharp and Wakefield by T. Broun (Sharp 1878). Some authors (Broun 1880, Pic 1914) suggested its possible synonymy with Veronatus tricostellum (White) . See remarks under V. tricostellum for more details.
