Type material examined. 1 ex. Holotype (NHM): card-mounted, “ Mesocyphon set- \ iger, Type D. S. \ Auckland Broun” [written at base of card in Sharp’s hand], “ Type \ H. T.” [round label with red border], “ Auckland, [red underline] \ New Zealand.”, “Sharp Coll. \ 1905-313.”

Remarks. A single specimen was sent to Sharp by T. Broun (Sharp 1878).
