1. Thesium clade (BIPP 1).

— This clade (Fig. 2A) contains all species now classified as Thesium and includes taxa formerly placed in Austroamericium, Chrysothesium, Kunkeliella, and Thesidium . The monophyly of Thesium including these genera and excluding Lacomucinaea is also resolved with chloroplast markers with the highest support.
