LACHUNG / June 1961 ’ [handwritten], ‘feeding on Adelges / on hemlock on way to / Dhombang’ [handwritten], ‘ Tetraphleps / galchanoides sp. n. / M.S.K. Ghauri det. 1972’ [handwritten + printed], ‘Pres by / Com Inst Ent’ [printed] (BMNH).

Distribution in India. Sikkim: Lachung (GHAURI 1972a).

General distribution. Outside India known only from South-Western Territory of China (Sichuan, Yunnan) (BU & ZHENG 2001).

Biology. The type series was collected on hemlock (Tsuga spp.), feeding on Adelges sp. (GHAURI 1972a).
