Type loccality and specimens. Südperu [Southern Peru], Rio Yukaes [Río Yauca], 2500 m, 26.4.1936 .
Dimensions. Erwachsene von 50–53 mm [adults range from 50 to 53 mm].
Type material. Syntypes. PERU: Arequipa Region, Rió Yauca [ca. 15°42’S, 74°31’W] .
Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 71, No. 88, Syntypes.
Collection remarks. The specimens were collected during the Hamburger Südperu-Expeditio n in 1936 and come from “ Urwald unter Steinen und unter Rinde ” [rainforest under rocks and tree bark].
Additional remarks. Verhoeff did not specifiy the number of specimens but the entire series was destroyed by fire in World War II (Weidner, 1960).
