Dimensions. Körperlänge [boy length] 83 [mm], Endbeine 18 (?) Mm. [length of ultimate legs maybe 18 mm].

Type material. Holotype (ZMH-A0000636). BRAZIL. No additional data [15°47’38“S, 47°52’58“W for Bra- sília].

Preservation. 1 jar: Label 1: Scolopendra leptodera n. sp. Kohlr. Brasilien Hmbg 64 a.; Label 2. Scolopendra leptodora Kohlrausch ( S. viridis polymorpha Wood) 1 Expl. Collection remarks. The specimen came from the collections of the Gymnasium Johanneum in Hamburg (later on ZMH).

Current systematic position. Junior synonym of Scolopendra polymorpha (Wood, 1861) according to Kraepelin (1903: 241).
