Dimensions. ♀ 23–31 mm. lg. [length] 55–59 Beinpaare [leg pairs]. ♂ 24–28 mm. lg. 51–53 Beinpaare.

Type material. Syntypes 1♂, 1♀ (ZMH-A0000556, ZMH-A0006386). BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA: Bosnia (region) [ca. 43°52’N, 18°25’E] .

Preservation. 1 jar: Label. Geophilus flavidus trebevicensis Verh, ex typis, Verhoeff v. 1.I.1898, Bosnien.

Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 62, No. 14. Paratypes 2.

Type status. Verhoeff (1898) did not state the number of specimens in his original description. All specimens are syntypes.

Additional remarks. Weidner (1960: 62) noted that the specimens were purchased from Verhoeff.

Current systematic position. Junior synonym of Clinopodes carinthiacus (Latzel, 1880); see Bonato et al. (2011: 180).
