Collection remarks. See Branchiotrema calcitrans Kohlrausch 1879 . The specimen came from the private Museum Godeffroy in Hamburg and was collected by Amalie Dietrich (1821–1891).

Current systematic position. Otostigmus (Otostigmus) tuberculatus (Kohlrausch, 1879); transferred by Haase (1887: 76).
