Type locality and specimens. Patria [homeland]: Teneriffa insula [Tenerife], prope oppidum Guimar [near the town of Güímar]

Dimensions. Longit. corp. [body length] 21–25 mm, lat. 3–3,4 mm [width 3–3.4 mm].

Type material. Syntypes 4 (ZMH-A0000705, ZMH-A0009223-9225). SPAIN: Tenerife (Canary Islands), Güímar [ca. 28°18’N, 16°24’W] .

Type status. Latzel (1895) did not specify the number of specimens in his description and all specimens are syntypes.
