Holotype ♂ with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Type | Lindner | 1935 [in vertical position]”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “ Chloromelas | barbata | Lind. [Lindner]”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “S. Paulo-Cantareira [Brazil, State of São Paulo, Serra da Cantareira] | Serra | L. Trav. Fº [L. Travassos Filho] | 31x -1934 [31.x.1934]”; (4) printed on white paper: “8.044”; (5) printed on red paper: “EMBRAPA”. Condition of type: good. Missing parts: tibiae and tarsomeres of all left legs, and femora of left mid leg. Additional note: holotype by monotypy.
