Type locality: Brazil, Petrópolis.

Ueter ”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “ Type | Lindner | 1935 [in vertical position]; (3) handwritten on white paper: “ Chrysochroma flaviventre | Lind [Lindner]”; (4) printed on white paper: “8.015”; (5) printed on red paper: “EMBRAPA”.

Condition of type: good. Missing parts: right fore and mid legs, left hind leg and left wing. Additional note: holotype by monotypy.
