Brunettia acutala Quate, 1999
Brunettia acutala Quate, 1999: 436, figs. 7D–H.
Comments. This species can be distinguished from the other species of Brunettia by the following characters: eyes separated by 1 facet diameter; wing apex pointed (unique among the known Neotropical species of Brunettia); developed costal and anal wing areas; triangular parameres; basiphallus with wide triangular filaments (Quate 1999). Specimens of this species were not studied, but the original description and the original figures of Quate (1996) are sufficient for their identification.
