Material examined. 1 spec. ZMA V.Pol. 2046 (as Syllis zonata), Philippines, Sulu Archipelago, anchorage off Pulu Tongkil, dredge, lithothamnion bottom, 13m, Siboga Expedition, Sta. 109, 5/ 6 July 1899. Remarks. The specimen agrees well with the descriptions.

Distribution. Circum(sub)tropical.
