Remarks. There is a noteworthy difference between the paraprocts of the specimen illustrated here (Figs. 4–6) and that of Froehlich (1990, figs. 15–20). The paraprocts of the specimens from Espírito Santo (Figs. 4–6) exhibit a pronounced curvature not illustrated by Froehlich (1990, figs. 15–20). We studied the specimens listed in Froehlich (1990) and much variation in the paraprocts of G. garbei was observed. Our material examined (Figs. 4–6) also exhibits this variation.
