Current name: Duranta erecta L. ( Verbenaceae).

Note: Méndez Santos (in Greuter & Rankin, Fl. Cuba, Ser. A, 7(3): 115. 2003) indicated the cited Browne t. 29, f. 1 as the holotype, which it almost certainly is not. It is, however, original material for the name, but the absence of the phrase "designated here" or an equivalent (Art. 7.11) means that this cannot be accepted as a formal typification.
