"Habitat in Italia." RCN: 4381.
Lectotype (Vitek & al., in Annalen Nat. Hist. Mus. Wien, B, in press): [icon] "Eufragia sassatile con foglie larghe lanceolate" in Zanoni, Rar. Stirp. Hist.: 110, t. 76. 1742. - Epitype (Vitek & al., in Annalen Nat. Hist. Mus. Wien, B, in press): Flora Exsiccata Austro-Hungarica 143, uppermost, richly-branched specimen (BM).
Current name: Euphrasia tricuspidata L. ( Scrophulariaceae).
Note: Yeo (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 77: 37. 1979) designated 759.3 (LINN) as lectotype but the sheet lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “3”), was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
