Idris Foerster ^HNS

Kozlov and Kononova (1990) included the genus Idris ^HNS in the tribe Idrini of the subfamily Baeinae ^HNS. Huggert (1979) and Masner and Denis (1996) listed several synonyms: Acoloides Howard ^HNS, Ceratobaeus Ashmead ^HNS, Megacolus Priesner ^HNS, Philoplanus Muesebeck and Walkley ^HNS, Pseudobaeus Perkins ^HNS, Tasmanacolus Hickman ^HNS, Tasmanibaeus Hickman ^HNS. However, Austin and Field (1997) maintained Ceratobaeus ^HNS as a distinct genus.
