Type locality. Iran, Zandjan. Holotype: female (ZIN).

Material examined. IRAN: Zandjan, 6.1954, 1♀ (Holotype) (leg. Alai) (ZIN) . Distribution. Known only from the type locality, Zanjan province of Iran (Fig. 843). Remarks. Because of the characters of the female shared with N. borumandi Mirzayans, this species is included in the genus Neoparanothrotes Mirzayans (see key to genera). Of course the male is needed for exact determination.
