Nocaracris demirsoyi (Ünal, 2002) comb. nov. et stat. nov.

Paranocaracris rubripes demirsoyi new subspecies: Ünal 2002: 282, 285.

Type locality. Turkey, Bolu, Kartalkaya. Holotype: female (AİBÜEM).

Material examined. TURKEY: The type material and the specimens published in Ünal (2002, 2009); Zonguldak, Nr. Safranbolu [now in Karabük province], 700 m, 17.7.1962, 2♂ (leg. K. M. Guichard & D. H. Harvey) (NHMUK) ; Bolu, Kartalkaya, 2130 m, 40.35.387 N, 31.47.692 E, 14.8.2015, 1♀ (leg. H. M. Solak) (AİBÜEM).

Distribution. N.W. Turkey: Found in the Western Black Sea Region of Turkey, Bolu, Karabük provinces (Fig. 844).

Remarks. This taxon was described as subspecies of P. rubripes by me (Ünal 2002). After comparison with all species of Nocaracris it is concluded that it is an independent species.
