Type locality. Turkey: Kastamonu. Holotype: male (MfN).

Distribution. Known from N. Turkey: mainly along the Küre Mountains, in the western and central Black Sea Region, Northern Bolu, Bartın, Kastamonu, Amasya provinces (Fig. 840).

Remarks. Ramme (1951: 282) recorded one male and two females in the type series of this species from Kastamonu. In the MfN there are 1 male (Holotype) and 1 female (Allotype). One female without exact locality from “Asia Minor” was labelled and identified by Ramme as paratype of “ Paranocarodes pahlagonicus n.sp. ” in the NMW.
