Distribution. S. Turkey. Mainly Bolkar Mountains and its near vicinity (Fig. 840).

Remarks. Ramme (1951: 288) described this species as the type species of Granulodes, which is a synonym of Paranocarodes .

Demirsoy (1977) identified some specimens collected from Akşehir as P. beieri . He used them to prepare the key and the illustration for this species, but the characters given by him do not agree with the types of P. beieri and those given by Ramme (1951). Identification of Akşehir specimens should be confirmed, they could be P. anatoliensis anamas sp. nov. or P. brevipes Ramme rather than the others. Yalım & Çıplak (2002) recorded this species from Antalya, Termessos, probably because of the variation of hind leg coloration of P. a. anatoliensis Demirsoy even in the same habitat (see P. anatoliensis). P. beieri is only found in the Bolkar Mountains (Cilician Taurus) and its vicinity.
