Type locality. Iran: [E. Azerbaijan Prov.], Karadağ. Holotype: male (ZIN).

Material examined. IRAN: Persia, Saroga-darya, Karadag, 9.6.1914, 1♂ (Holotype) , 1♀ (Allotype), plus 3♂, 2♀ (Paratypes); Savalan, 17– 19.6.1914, 4♂ (ZIN).

Distribution. N.W. Iran: E. Azerbaijan, Ardebil, Savalan Mt., Gilan (Fig. 842).

Remarks. Ihsan & Donskoff (1988: 22, 24, 29, 30) erroneously gave this species name in the figure captions on several pages, but they did not give it in the main lists on the pages 15 and 21. Moreover this species does not live in Syria.
