Ocnerodes brunnerii brunnerii (Bolívar, 1876)

Material examined. SPAIN: Guero, 1♀ (Neotype) (MNCN) ; Altomira (Cuenca), 6.1932, 1♂, 1♀ (leg. M. Pujol) (det. V. Llorente, 1983 as Ocnerodes br. brunneri (Bol.) (AİBÜEM).

Remarks. This species was described as “ Acocera Brunnerii sp. nv.” after a single female (Bolívar, 1876: 290). According to Llorente & Presa (1997: 107) the female holotype is lost. One female from Guero was labelled as Neotype by Llorente in 1996, but it has not yet been published. The type locality of this nominotypical taxon needs to be known because of the presence of another subspecies. Therefore the previously fixed female preserved in the MNCN by Llorente should be the neotype of this subspecies.
