Iranotmethis cyanipennis cyanipennis (Saussure, 1884)

Material examined. IRAN: Hamadan, Dardjazin, 7.1949, 1♀ (leg. Vaezi) ; Hamadan, Dablabad, 21.7.1960, 1♂ (leg. E. S. Brown) (NHMUK).

Remarks. The specimens studied here have hind femur and tibia blue with violet tinge on the inside. The difference from I. cyanipennis kurdus Bey-Bienko is also the shape of pronotum as given by Bey-Bienko & Mistshenko (1951: 299). The hind legs in I. cyanipennis kurdus and I. cyanipennis iranicus (Werner, 1939) are unicolor blue.
