Letana rubescens (Stål, 1861)

Material examined. (1 ♀ Specimen) India: Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar; 25.xii.2006, Coll. J. Majumdar (Shalimar).

Description. Female: medium sized parapterous, green species often suffused with red dots; pronotum inflated; tegmina with radial sector forked with an addition radial vein branching directly from radius; ovipositor short, sabre shaped with dorsal and ventral margins, base to apex dentate, larger in apical parts; supra-anal plate circa semi-circular with a shallow baso-medial furrow; cerci normal, apex sub-obtuse; subgenital plate variable, circa long, hexagonal or almost as broad as long with a triangular baso-medial depressed??, apex broadly rounded with a faint incision in the middle in some individuals and with a short shallow pre-apical furrow.
