Distribution. Indian records: Uttarakhand. Global records: Afghanistan, Asia Minor, Arabia, Algeria, Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Libya, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, (Sanyal et al. 2018, De Prins & De Prins 2011 –2023, Fibiger et al. 2010).

Remark. The species is restricted to African and central Asia. Sanyal et al. (2018) erroneously mentioned it from Indian Himalaya. The confirmation from India is further needed.
