Global records: Java, China, Nepal, Vietnam, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, Hawaii, Sri Lanka (Hampson 1912, Kononenko & Pinratana 2005, Joshi et al. 2021).

Remark. Sivasankaran et al. (2011: 6) erroneously mentioned the author and year of the species as “ Holloway, 1985 ”.
