Diagnosis. 1) body orange, except the head, hind leg, and posterior part of metasoma black; 2) fore wing hyaline yellowish, with two black bands; 3) head, in dorsal view, with gena slightly convex behind eyes; 4) face smooth and without a carina; 5) occipital carina slightly curved and reduced dorsally; 6) pronotum with the pocket-like structure not reduced longitudinally; 7) epicnemial carina absent; 8) sternite I with a low, rounded swelling posteriorly; 9) female with tarsal claw with square lobe, and with apex overtaking the lobe (tarsal claw single in males); 10) female with ovipositor sheath 0.75–0.9 × as long as the hind tibia.

Distribution. Brazil, French Guiana, and Peru. This is the first record of the species and genus for Argentina (Fig. 7D).

Biological notes. Host unknown.
