Acanthopetalum furculigerum transitionis Strasser, 1976, Rev. Suisse Zool., 83 (3): 597, figs 23–24, 26. Male HT (MZUL) from Cave Milatos near Milatos, Iraklion, Crete, Greece.

Range: known only from the Greek island of Crete.
