*207. Sarangesa phidyle (Walker, 1870)

WL: 16mm. This species is centered on the Sudan savanna and the Sahel, known in West Africa from Gambia to northern Nigeria; it is now reported as a novelty for Guinea-Bissau, though Larsen (2005) already suspected its presence in the country. It also flies along most of equatorial and Central Africa, and in East Africa from southern Sudan to Malawi and Zimbabwe. The reported host-plants are Peristrophe and Barleria (Acanthaceae) .
