201. Phalanta phalantha aethiopica (Rothschild & Jordan, 1903)
WL: 27mm. The nominate subspecies flies in the Oriental Region. The present subspecies occurs in tropical Africa, usually in open forest and dense savanna. The caterpillars are polyphagous and feed on species of Celastraceae, Euphorbiaceae, Flacourtiaceae, Rubiaceae, Smilacaceae and Violaceae .
