23. Belenois (Anaphaeis) aurota aurota (Fabricius, 1793)
WL: 27mm. The species ranges throughout Africa, Madagascar and the Oriental Region. Despite occurring primarily in savanna, it can also be found in disturbed forest. The caterpillars feed on Capparaceae ( Maerua, Capparis and Boscia).
