*6. Papilio cyproeofila cyproeofila Butler, 1868
WL: 55mm. P. cyproeofila constitutes a new record for Guinea-Bissau. It was the most common papilionid observed in forest, also leaving this habitat at times. The nominate subspecies is hereafter known from Guinea- Bissau to Nigeria. Other subspecies are known to occur southwards to the nominate one. Caterpillars feed on several species of Piperaceae .
