104. Danaus chrysippus chrysippus (Linnaeus, 1758)
WL: 40mm. The species is ubiquitous and ranges all along Africa, most of the Oriental Region and also in the southern Palearctic. The polyphagous caterpillars feed mainly on Asclepiadaceae but also on Convolvulaceae and Periplocaceae .
