63. Hypolycaena anara Larsen, 1986

WL: 13mm. Larsen (2005) reports this species in dense savanna and dry forest, and we only collected a few specimens in the Cantanhez forest area. H. anara also occurs in Guinea (Fouta-Djallon and the National Park of Upper Niger), Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and northeastern Nigeria. The host-plants are still unknown.
