*52. Cigaritis larseni Bouyer, 2012 WL: 15mm. Previous references of Spindasis mozambica (Bertolini, 1850) by Larsen (2005) and Cigaritis mozambica (Bertolini, 1850) by Mendes et al. (2008), must be corrected to the present species. S. mozambica is a widespread species occurring throughout tropical Africa (Larsen, 2005); however, it was recently split into two independent species by Bouyer (2012): C. larseni from West Africa, ranging along the forests from Gambia to CAR; and C. mozambica, present in most of Africa south of the Equator, excluding denser forests and deserts. Host-plants are still unknown.
