Remark. The species can be recognized by its rather big size, and pale colour. Along the suture the elytra are darker orange coloured. The 8 th stria is parallel to the lateral margin. Striae 1–4 are well visible and punctated; pronotum cordiform.
Distribution. Iran and Egypt.
Remark. This species was listed in the genus Tachys by Azadbakhsh & Nozari (2015) but was not listed for Iran by Löbl & Löbl (2017).
