Type data: This species was described based on a single male specimen collected by Heinrich Konrad Karl (18651917) in Paraguay. Comment: The holotype of C. fusciventris atriceps has the clypeus and labrum with blackish coloration, which differs in most males of C. mocsaryi . However, this character is variable.
