Centris flavilabris var. fulva Friese, 1924: 22 .

Type data: Friese (1924) proposed this variety based on a single male collected by the notable entomologist, botanist and ethnographer specializing in Amazonia Adolpho Ducke (1876–1959) in Santarém, northern Brazil. Type locality: Brazil: Pará state: Santarém .

Comment: Centris fulva is only known from male specimens. Considering its distributional range in the Amazonian basin, as well as some morphological features, the unknown female could be the species described as C. restrepoi Moure, 2002, which is only known from female specimens. Unfortunately, C. fulva and C. restrepoi are not frequently found in collections and nothing is known about their bionomy and nesting habits.
