24. Parapenaeus longirostris (Lucas, 1846)

– Reported from sGuianas in several contributions (see checklist under Parapenaeus politus). Parapenaeus politus (WA) and P. longirostris (EA) are two sibling species, distributed on each side of the Atlantic (Pérez Farfante 1982). All sGuianas records of P. longirostris have been considered as P. politus .
