Bonita, new genus

Type species. Bonita mexicana new species, by present designation and monotypy.
Diagnosis. Carapace thin, easily wrinkled, tumid, anterolateral margins protruding beyond frontal margin, two longitudinal sulci extending form orbits to middle of carapace; WL3 asymmetrical, left longer than right, dactylus blade-shape; WL4 more robust than others, with clavate propodus, short, conical dactylus. Abdomen large, concave, margin involutes.
Etymology. From the Latin bellus (= beauty) alluding to the beauty facie of the crab. Gender feminine.
