Catoptria mytilella (Hübner, [1805])

Material examined. Russia: 2 ♁, 5 ♀, Talgi, 14.vi.2022 .

Remarks. An old record of the species in environs of Pyatigorsk is known (Alpheraki 1876). C. mytilella was also mentioned and for the West Caucasus by Kuznetsov (2004), though its presence in the region is indicated with a question sign in the catalogue of the Lepidoptera of Russia (Sinev & Streltzov 2022).

Distribution. South and Central Europe, North Caucasus (Kuznetsov 2004; Slamka 2008).
