Remarks.
These two specimens were collected at night on a track within the village of Saül and nowhere outside the village, which argues for a human introduction rather than a natural occurrence. Identification is based on the COI sequences. The same haplotype recovered from two specimens matches with a Suriname specimen (p - distance 99.83 %, GenBank KM 489511; Gomes, S. R., Barr, N. and Robinson, D., 2015, unpubl.).
