Xyleborus eurygraphus (Ratzeburg, 1837)

Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan (Samin et al. 2011).

General distribution. Central and southern Europe, southern Russia, North Africa, Turkey. Biology. The species is unusual amongst xyleborines in that it normally breeds only in Pinus (Pinaceae) (Schedl 1966, Lombardero 1996). Recorded in Iran from Pinus brutia (Pinaceae) (Samin et al. 2011). The biology and gallery system are described by Schedl (1966).
