Phloeosinus cedri Brisout de Barneville, 1883

Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran (Samin et al. 2011).

General distribution. Algeria, Morocco, Spain, Syria, Turkey.

Biology. The species breeds in Cedrus (Pinaceae) . It is recorded in Iran from Cedrus libani (Samin et al. 2011) . The biology of the species is briefly described by Benhalima et al. (1999). It sometimes attacks healthy young twigs (Balachowsky 1969).
