Diagnosis. Male antennae without spines in antennomeres V or VI; lateral tubercles of the prothorax acute, coincident or not with posterolateral angles; pro- and mesoventral processes less than one-fourth of the width of the procoxal cavity; elytra without centrobasal crest or carinae. Number of species currently included: 78; in Mexico and Central America: 19.
