Schoenherria philippinica: Itoh 1992: 9 (valid species); Itoh 1993: 6–7 (redescription, key).

Type locality. “ Philippinen ”.

Type material examined. None.

Additional material examined. PHILIPPINES: VISAYAS: Bukidnon: 2♂♂, 3♀♀, Tangcolan (UNSM); MINDANAO: 1♂, V. Samarita (NMM); Surigao: 4♂♂, C. Baker (UNSM).

Distribution. Brenske (1894) described this species from “ Philippinen ”, later, Itoh (1993) added records from Mindanao and Leyte (Eastern Visayas). The species is newly recorded from the provinces of Bukidnon (Northern Mindanao) and Surigao (North-eastern tip of Mindanao).
