Plekocheilus (Eurytus) corydon (Crosse, 1869)

Remarks. The type material of this taxon has not been located in the Paris museum (V. Héros, pers. comm.). However, we found some material that fits the description of Crosse, labeled “ Plekocheilus corydon, Ecuador, Mindo” (DMNH 141666). This material has strong similarities to P. phoebus mentioned above and might prove to be a synonym.
